Evening appointments are still available by booking ahead.

If you’ve noticed a small change in my posted hours lately, I wanted to take a moment to explain what’s behind it — because this shift isn’t about doing less. It’s about doing things better.

Over time, I started noticing a pattern in my slower days. I’d list myself as open late, stay available for walk-ins, and then spend hours waiting around with empty gaps on the books. While I’m always happy to take a walk-in when timing works out, that “on standby” time wasn’t actually serving my clients — or the long-term growth of this business — as well as it could.

So I made a small adjustment.

What changed (and what didn’t)

My posted hours now reflect walk-in availability, not the full span of appointment times I’m willing to book. That gives walk-in clients a clearer expectation, and it gives me back focused time during slower stretches of the day.

What didn’t change?
I’m absolutely still taking later appointments — especially for my late-night baddies. Evening bookings are alive and well, and if that’s when you need to come in, I’ve got you.

Why this actually improves your experience

This change allows me to:

  • Be fully present when I am behind the chair

  • Reduce rushed or end-of-day fatigue

  • Use slower windows to work on the business, not just in it

That behind-the-scenes time goes directly back into your experience — better systems, better communication, better content, better consistency. It’s how I make sure Snip Happens continues to grow without losing the personal, high-touch feel you expect when you sit in my chair.

This isn’t about discouraging late bookings

I want to be very clear about that. This shift is not me closing the door earlier — it’s me managing time more intentionally. If evenings work best for you, book them. If you’re unsure, reach out. I’ve always been flexible, and that hasn’t changed.

At the end of the day, this update helps me show up sharper, more energized, and more aligned — for walk-ins, for scheduled clients, and for the future of this space.

Thanks for rolling with me as this brand continues to evolve. 🖤
And as always — if you have questions, just ask.
